I live and work in the foothills of the Blue Ridge, at the southern end of The Shenandoah Valley in Rockbridge County, near Lexington, Virginia. My wife of 30 years, Patricia, and I have lived here for 22 years, in the house which we built and where we have raised our 4 children. After many years as a carpenter, I became a primarily self-taught jeweler and have been producing work full time for 16 years. I have taken workshops with Master Jewelers around the country, have done much research and have developed my skill and style through the years.
The actual work is produced primarily by me, with Patricia providing much help with various aspects of the business and with a part-time helper for the buffing. It is created using traditional techniques of forging, fabrication and stonesetting as well as lost wax casting. Using precious metals, semi-precious gemstones and unusual mineral materials, I make many one-of-a-kind pieces as well as an extensive production line of unique, affordable jewelry.
I currently travel to about 17 Art and Craft shows, sell actively to about 40 Galleries across the country and keep our whole line permanently available at our cooperative gallery, Artists in Cahoots, in downtown Lexington.
I strive to add fresh work and direction to the line constantly and I always stand 100% behind my workmanship. We hope this work enhances your life!
